Frenada / Braking

            Este no es un vuelo convencional de una avoceta  (Recurvirostra avosetta) y tampoco es una perspectiva cenital. La posición de las alas la cola y las patas nos indican que es un vuelo rasante de advertencia frenando a pocos metros de mi posición. Y todo ese despliegue sólo puede deberse a una razón debo dar marcha atrás porque los pollos andan cerca.

This isn't a conventional flight of an avocet (Recurvirostra avosetta), nor is it a top-down perspective. The position of the wings, tail, and legs indicate that it's a low-flying warning flight, braking a few meters from my position. And all this display can only be due to one reason: I have to turn back because the chicks are nearby.
