As far as the eye can See - a photo on Flickriver

            View from the Lechtal Alps in southern direction.
Mountains as far as the eye can see.
The picture was taken at 2700m above sea level.

It was a very hot day when I did this tour in the Lechtal Alps.
Even at 2700m it was about 20 degrees Celisus. On the
descent I went swimming in this lake at 2400m above sea
level; I guess the water of the lake was 18 degrees Celsius.
A wonderful experience that also makes me think, because
it's not usually that warm at these altitudes.
What else will the future bring?
