"The Temple of the Winds" - The Neale, Co. Mayo, Ireland... of all places.

            Looking very much like the Greek ruin it isn't, this folly created by a wealthy English lord in the mid-19th century stands on the uncompleted base of a tower constructed a hundred years prior. As I'm predisposed to dislike outlandish displays of wealth, particularly in a region ravaged by famine only a dozen years prior to its construction, I may print and hang this photo over my own 'temple of the winds' -- the toilet.
