Evening star at Inverie - a photo on Flickriver

            Inverie, Knoydart peninsula, Scotland, UK. Pastel tones and the first star of the evening reflected in the light of a distant boat passing by. The Knoydart peninsula is known as the UK's last wilderness. No road leads there, with its main settlement Inverie accessible by either a 2 day walk or a boat trip from the outside world. The escape from the rhythm of modern life in places like this allows for a very special kind of peace.
