All Our Yesterdays

There is a moment, as the light fades away, when day is over and night not yet begun. Sometimes, in that moment, time feels suspended between two worlds, and all the memories, all the feelings and experiences, that have brought me to this point in life, flood forth in a wave of pathos and poignance. Then as dusk envelops the sky, the moment fades like the light, and all that spilled out returns to its vanishing place, tucked away until the next time I stand on the edge of yesterday.
