Wagony SN4 zostały wyprodukowane w 1910 r dla niemieckiego miasta Eberswalde. W 1941 r. 4 wagony trafiły do Krakowa, gdzie zostały oznaczone jako SN4. Początkowo eksploatowano je jako wozy techniczne. Dopiero od 1948 r. wagony SN4  zaczęły wozić pasażerów. W 1972 r. wozy zniknęły z torów Krakowa. Od 1959 do 1972 r. wagony służyły tylko jako wozy techniczne.

The SN4 cars were produced for the German town Eberswalde. In 1941 four cars were brought to Cracow, where they were called SN4. At the beginning they served as departmental vehicles. As late as 1948 the SN4 cars started to transport passangers. In 1972 the cars disapeared from the tracks of Cracow. From 1959 to 1972 the SN4 were again used as departmental vehicles.
