Tango the LEGO animatronic toucan - a photo on Flickriver

Hi everyone! I wanted to introduce all of you to Tango, my LEGO animatronic toucan. 

Tango can move his head, wings, beak and performs a number of songs, talks, tells jokes, makes bird calls, and much more! 

Ever since I was a kid and first visited Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room in Walt Disney World, I knew that someday I wanted to be a Disney Imagineer and design and build my own robotic creations with the ultimate goal: To create an animatronic Toucan! 

I never got that Disney job (I went into software engineering instead) but that never stopped me from building my own creatures over the years! 

Up until now most of my animatronics have been fabricated with the usual foam, metal, Sculpey, faux fur, servos, etc, but with Tango I wanted to challenge myself by layering in my other hobby (LEGO) and adding the complexity of using LEGO elements to create the figure, while still meeting all of my animation goals, and keeping everything in a reasonably sized package. I think I achieved my goals, but tell me what you think!

A Greasemonkey script that adds Flickriver links to various Flickr photo pages - user photos, favorites, pools etc, allowing to quickly open the corresponding Flickriver view.

Also, allows quickly viewing any Flickr photo on black background in large size.
