Cape Disappointment - a photo on Flickriver

            Like I said in my intro I'm dysfunctional so when we were told we couldn't go anywhere or do anything I said to myself: "Yeah, watch me!" King Tides come in the late autumn and early winter so I drove up the coast, crossing the Asatoria/Megler Bridge that sways in stormy weather  to Cape Disappointment State Park to watch the swells break against the rocks! The parking lot on the man-made jetty wasn't very crowded as people told me it would. I think the COVID (the China Flu) had a lot to do with the "China Flu!" And lock downs by the dickaters in DC! Saw one guy get wiped-out by some driftwood and sloshing sea, gear and all! I climbed atop my jeep and used my Nikon Nikonos with T-Max film & short tripod. This is not a HDR. Been there a few times, this is a fantastic spot when extreme high tides coincide with strong storms! But that is not how it was this past year(2022/2023). Maybe this winter will be better than 2020?
