            This was our helicopter for the summer of 1978, a Bell 206B Jet Ranger belonging to Okanagan Helicopter of Vancouver BC.  In 1987 Okanagan was bought by Canadian industrialist Craig Dobbin and following several mergers and acquisitions, became Canadian Helicopter Corporation or CHC Helicopter Corporation, the world's largest commercial helicopter operator.  Today, much of CHC's business consists of providing helicopter services to offshore oil and gas companies around the world.
