01-2001 United States Air Force (USAF 48th FW / 494th FS) McDonnell Douglas (Boeing) F-15E Strike Eagle

            Seen here moment from touching down onto the Runway at RAF Lakenheath is this F-15E Strike Eagle from the 494th Squadron (a.k.a. Panthers) after a quick sortie from the Mach loop in Wales. 

I prefer the shape and the aggressiveness of the F-15 aircraft compared to the F-35's that are set to replace these over the next 15-20 years, as these have such a vast history in air-superiority and battle's won... notably in the Gulf war in "Operation Desert Storm".
