            This photograph focuses on the top asset of a GWR Tank Engine’s boiler preserved at the Didcot Railway Centre as the subject matter. This shot was created on the first steam day that the heritage site held on New Years Day, which was the first time I was able to view the locomotive inside the main engine shed. This photograph wasn't created for any specific reason such as an assignment or client, as the photographs from this day were taken to experiment with vantage points within my railway photography shots. This photograph was an experiment to determine how I can create my own shots within the subject of railways via focusing upon locomotive assets other than the most recognisable one such as the chassis, smokebox, or cab areas. This photograph was post-produced within a traditional colour palette to experiment with the types of shades that I can include within the subject of railway photography other than B&W shades.
