Clouded Yellow (Colias croceus) - female helice form

            Southbourne, Dorset, England on 12/10/25
I was very pleased to see this Clouded Yellow female, of the helice form, for the first time this year. The usual yellow wings are white in this scarce form. The undercliffs at Southbourne are always a good bet for Clouded Yellows, late in the year.
Getting an open wing shot was a real bonus!
