East Brazilian Chachalaca (Ortalis araucuan)

A new bird for me.

This chachalaca is endemic to a fairly narrow strip of far eastern Brazil, from Rio Grande do Norte south into Espirito Santo and Minas Gerais. It primarily inhabits the Atlantic Forest but also secondary forest, caatinga, and restinga landscapes.
