            72612 built by BREL at Derby Litchurch Lane as a Locomotive Hauled Mark 2f Passenger Coach 6156 . 
Subsequently its duties were taken over by HSTs , so it was incorporated in "Gatwick Express" Class 488 Unit . 
Displaced again from those duties , it was claimed by Network Rail for use as a "Test Train Brake Force Runner"

Which is what it was doing here , parked between duties in "Cambridge Reception Roads"
