Whisper - a photo on Flickriver

Whisper

            Light painting with the Portland Lightist Group. The shutter is open for approx. 20 seconds. A thin flexible strip of LED's is wrapped around the top of her dress and moved down the length of it. Then a ribbon of green light is stretched across the background, whipped back and forth and moved up and down. Finally the strobes are fired, camera right thru a gridded softbox and behind to left for rim.
