1 oz Grandma's Favorite Dishcloth Sugar N Cream Cool Breeze Ombre

            To get 2 dishcloths from a 2 oz. ball of yarn I use Grandma's Favorite Dishcloth pattern on US 9 needles up to 40 stitches in the middle before beginning the decreases.  The dishcloths are 7 inches from side to side.   
 
TIP:  To figure out how to get 2 of Grandmas Favorite Dishcloths out of my ball of yarn with my own tightness of knitting / needle size, I used a digital scale.  Knit to the number of stitches you think the middle of the dishcloth should be, then place only the ball of yarn on the scale.  You want it to read 1.5 oz. remaining on the ball if you're working with a 2 oz. ball.  When you hit 1.5 oz. you'll know it's time to start the decreases on this pattern.
