Not Quite Pen Y Fan! - a photo on Flickriver

            Whilst I have continued to generally lurk in the background on Flickr, only viewing and commenting on images posted by others, it has been over a year since I posted any new images of my own and I thought it was about time I rectified that!

Yesterday, I left home at 4.30am to drive to the Brecon Beacons in Wales, with the intention of shooting a sunrise from the top of Pen Y Fan. Sadly, I under estimated the steepness of the ascent and just how unfit I have become since the start of the pandemic and was only able to reach Corn Du before the sunrise began. After quickly setting up I was able to capture this 8 image pano.

I have made a note to return to this location in the future when hopefully, I will be a lot fitter and be able to reach Pen Y Fan without any struggles.
