            Sandy and I traveled up north to visit our friend Lori.  Of course, there were thousands of photo opportunities...and that's just what I came home with...thousands of photos.  This is one of my favourites though.  Her cat is beautiful, and I was very pleased to capture this portrait.  I believe the Sony 18-135 does an admirable job in almost any situation.  Granted, I SHOULD have attached the 50mm 1.4 for an indoor, poorly lit portrait, but I think this zoom did quite well.  It definitely belies the mediocre numbers on the spec sheet.  That's why I tend to 'overuse it'.
