For the group Slider's Sunday, a photo of my piano in the late winter afternoon sun. Done with a texture.. a bit unusual for me, but I've always loved textures, I just haven't been particularly good at them.
So, HSS to you all!

I want to let you all know that my commenting may become more and more sparse. I have neglected my own photography lately, and I don't want to neglect it any more.

I have many drains on my time. I have a sister who has Alzheimers, and the rest of us siblings... five of us... are working daily to help keep her in her home as long as possible. We have done tons of work to keep her happy and safe.... including taking over all her finances and handling all her mail, taking over her health management and going with her by phone to all appointments, helping her find a new dog when her old dog died, taking over her applications for Social Security, and Medicare, taking over all the repairs to her house or property, finding her a twice weekly companion, getting her dog to the vet, finding her a place to go when she can't stay home anymore, and helping her remember her life, which she has forgotten. The list goes on and on. We have divided these tasks between the five of us, and so far she has been ok, living alone in her home. She lives in Salt Lake City, and the rest of us live in California, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Virginia. So every task takes a lot of time, since it is done over the phone.

I stay awake most of each night, to be there for her if she needs to call someone... like the night she fell out of bed and had to go to the emergency room.

All this takes a lot of time, and every other night, when I have a long memory session with her, I have little time to go Flickring.

So, if you don't see a comment from me, I probably skipped commenting that night. But be assured that I LOOKED at your work, and read what you wrote.
