            The two and half-story frame Victorian / Southern Colonial inspired house was probably constructed in the late 1800s.  The house was built with wrap around double porches on the first and second stories that spans the front elevation and part of the second.  The hipped roof is intersected by side gables and dormers.  The kitchen is attached at the rear of the main structure. The house has numerous embellishments including brackets under the eves and festoons (garland) on the panel between the porches.  The house is typical of those built by the merchant class in southern towns during the period.
