THE NIGHT LIGHT OF BRUGGE - a photo on Flickriver

            Brugge, Belgium the "Venice of the North".
I saw a painting in a Brugge gallery of this scene depicting a daylight scene with ducks and swans frolicking in the water.  But searched to find it over two days with no luck...guys don't ask for directions. Then the last night I stopped to eat a wonderful meal of the famous steamed mussels of Brussels ( in cream and white wine ) sitting outside at a local restaurant.  Turns out my chair had my back to the little cobblestone path that led to the bridge above...only 50 feet away.  As I walked away from my meal I followed the street and gazed to the right and...please enjoy a night stroll in Brugge. Sorry no ducks and swans.
