Sunday Family Outing - a photo on Flickriver

            My work friend had been telling me during the week how a mother duck and her chicks had been passing by her Father's Shop every day. I set off to capture such a scene today. I found two duck families, the first endemic Paradise Ducks. The Female has a white head and the Male a black head. They were not in public view and I bush-bashed to get closer. This is the first time I have ever sighted Paradise Duck Chicks. The parents were protective but were also trusting in that they let their guard down a little the longer I hung around.
