Baobab Tree and Me

            I took this some years ago. One of the largest known baobab trees (often called the upside down tree) and that's me alongside it.  It's just upstream of the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.

My wife and I took a taxi out to see it and then decided to walk back along the bank of the Zambezi. It was a lovely afternoon, not too hot and it seemed like a good idea. But .. we forgot, this wasn't England, there were large crocodiles here and they leave the river to sunbathe. We remembered about quarter way into the walk. I picked up a stick, but I'm not sure what I thought I could do if we became potential prey!
