A True Story - June 2007 - PHOTO 1

            This afternoon was most interesting - I was pruning hibiscuses and had the cuttings in a large plastic rubbish bin.  Then it got really interesting as I went for my camera, and the pruning stopped.  This is the story, and you should follow it from Photograph 1 to the end.  I did not stage anything either!

I noticed a small preying mantis walking around the rim of the plastic bucket and decided to photograph it.    Its length may have reached 1.5 cm (around three-quarters of an inch).  This is the photo.
