Englewood Green Line, West Toward Halsted

            In its travels, the Green Line south from Cermak runs through mostly vacant lots and (as here) parking lots. There's plenty of vacant, non-tax-generating land that Mayor Emanuel's lot-for-a-dollar plan won't even begin to make a dent in.

Then there are church-owned properties that are completely tax-exempt, even for wealthy mega-churches.
