            2024 Moi, Toi, and Lui, Music at the Museum sponsored by the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve, Eunice Depot Museum, April 13: Fred Charlie.  Fred isn’t singing in this shot. Between songs, he  told a number of entertaining stories about his experiences as a musician, including performing for many years with his band at gatherings of NASA employees at the Stennis Space Center in Mississippi (it’s near Bay St. Louis close to the Louisiana border). One year astronaut John Glenn seated himself at the band’s table.
