Soaking Up The Sun

            With cold temps not warming up much during the day, the activity in our yard has been fast and furious.  Lots of feathered and furry friends checking out the various feeders and Goodie Bowls set out in preparation for winter Storm Heather.

Fortunately, we were spared the snow and ice so many others got, but the c-c-cold weather got everyone's attention, including this male Northern Cardinal and female House Finch, perched high in our holly bush, basking in the sun.

Below is a series of photos from Day 2 and 3 from our marathon Birdwatching.  As stated before, Flickr used to let us do a series of photos in the Comments section for viewing without having to make them public and flood our stream with photos.
