Bee Interesting! A Tip For Shooting Flowers!=o)

            I’m sure it happens to everyone, but sometimes I learn stuff I already knew, but didn’t know I knew until I read it or heard someone else say it.  I was reading this Scott Kelby book a while back and one of the tips about taking more interesting flower shots was don’t look down on them.  I thought, “I don’t think I ever do that.”  In my mind’s eye, I’m always squatting, sitting, and sometimes even laying down to shoot flowers.  

I wanted to verify this, so I went to my flowers and plants set to see if it was true.  Indeed, I apparently never shoot flowers from the top, or at least if I have, I didn’t find them “post worthy” on Flickr.  Ergo, I thought it was a pretty good tip to point out because I do think they are more interesting.  Since we all walk by flowers and see them from our height, the downward view is a bit more ho-hum, been there, done that!  

Oh, and please know, I don't share this tip like I'm some epic photographer of flowers or anything else, but because I do think it's a good tip. =o)
