Art In Nature! More Colorful! - a photo on Flickriver

            When I was in Junior High in the 70’s, purple was my favorite color.  I had this purple T-shirt with “Sunshine” emblazoned across the front in silver glitter letters with a cool design.  You can imagine it, I’m sure.  Red was my favorite before that, and I’ve gone through phases of yellow and orange as well as phases of black and white depending on whether we’re talking décor’ or clothing.  I love green, primarily in nature, and I’ve never said, “Blue is my favorite color”, though of course I love blue.  Choosing a favorite color is like choosing a favorite child, and though I don’t have children of my own, I’m certain I couldn’t do it.   

My point and I did have one is “favorite colors” are over-rated!  Ergo, I’m choosing not to choose a favorite color anymore.  Call me a rapscallion, but I have enough love for ALL the colors to be revered and celebrated in my little world!  =o)

The moment I saw this cactus, I knew I would have to freak it out!  The fibers were so cool, familar from a distance and alien up close.
