How green was my valley. - a photo on Flickriver

            Just to show that Monday was entirely inclement and a washout, while we started off heading north to Tewantin and were confronted by two flooded roads where we had to turn back, a change of plans saw us in the Mary River valley, south of Gympie. This is the same Mary River that flooded Gympie to near record levels in February.

There was a lot of water about in fields etc but no flooding at all, not even rain during the day despite the threatening looking clouds. This shot was taken from a lookout above the small town of Imbil.
