Forget the rooms, it's the views and pool mate!

If you check out my image along Queen's Beach at Redcliffe today, you will note the path along the beach just above high water. Then to the right up what would once have been seacliffs, you will note a line of rather upmarket homes and unit blocks, all with fabulous outlooks across Moreton Bay.

When we first walked these shores over 40 years ago, most blocks contained fascinating heritage homes, some with boat sheds, unusual gardens and various means to get down those cliffs. Today, almost all those homes have been sadly demolished and replaced. This home which currently has the beached boat, the "Suemanda" (see other shots today) right below it and a set of stairs down the cliff face from a short dead end street just out of shot, right.

But imagine those views, a full 180 degrees + and perhaps imagine contemplating them from the glass fronted swimming pool that is, the light blue across the front of the home. John Lennon perhaps did!
