A "Raspberry" breakfast. - a photo on Flickriver

            Raspberry getting a few favourite sunflower seeds for breakfast this morning. He is such a calm and dear boy, we love him to bits. And never greedy either.

When in the mood, Raspberry, although a totally wild bird doesn't mind a foot or tummy rub.

Raspberry usually visits twice a day. As a Galah, he is one of Australia's iconic cockatoo species with a crest on his head. In Galahs, the crest basically lays flat over and rear of the head and is highly responsive to emotions, especially fright, alarm, anger or delight etc when they raise it up. Imagine the muscles that must lay in that area to be able to raise it so quickly and easily.
