World Heritage: Jacobs House II - a photo on Flickriver

Built: 1937 (and still modern!). Architect: Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959). The building is the first of Wright´s Usonian houses designed for middle income families. Innovative construction techniques are a masonry core, prefabricated sandwich dry walls, heat conduits in a concrete slab floor and elimination of basement. Wright was described by the American Institute of Architects as "the greatest American architect of all time".

In 2019 eight buildings in the United States designed by Frank Lloyd Wright were added to UNESCO’s World Heritage List: "The 20th-Century Architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright", ref 1496rev.
In addition to Jacobs House the buildings are: Guggenheim Museum (New York), Fallingwater (Pennsylvania), Hollyhock House (California), Robie House (Illinois), Taliesin (Wisconsin), Taliesin West (Arizona) and Unity Temple (Illinois).
