Terminal 5 - London Heathrow II - a photo on Flickriver

            London Heathrow is the busiest airport in Europe by passenger traffic (72 million passengers in 2013). Terminal 5 opened in 2008 and is designed to ultimately handle 35 million passengers a year. The main building in the complex is the largest free-standing structure in the United Kingdom. The terminal took 19 years from conception to completion. 

Lead architects: Richard Rogers Partnership. 
Engineers for the structure: Arup and Mott MacDonald.
