Nolhaga Mansion I

Jonas Alströmer bought Nolhaga estate in 1723. During his time there the manor had many farm buildings, fields, growths for medicinal plants, tobacco and plants to get colour for the textile industry in the city, pipe- and brickworks, saw- and flour-mills etc. It was here that he planted the first food potato in Sweden.
Claes Adelsköld bought Nolhaga manor in 1877 and built a new main building in Italian Renaissance style 1879-1880. Architect was Adrian C. Peterson. Claes Adelsköld is known for the building of railways in Sweden.

Nowadays there is a restaurant and rooms for conferences in the manor house.
