polio leg lady with shoe bridge - a photo on Flickriver

            This lady is a patron of Ed's Ortho in Cincinatti. You see the trademark heel bridge? This is a great shoe saver, and looks very chic on this shoe. Does she use only one crutch, not sure that's a good idea. The photographer (probably Ed himself) was so excited by her polio leg that he almost cut her head off. She seems to be just alighting from her car, gut her kafo locked, ready for action. Probably visiting Ed's for an adjustment (which Ed does free).
  I like the brace and shoe Ed especially the bridge, but the leather is a bit drab looking, really.
