Dartford Marshes: derelict building - a photo on Flickriver

            One of a number of similar structures on Dartford Marshes, close to the River Darent.
There are bits of pieces of information available on t'internet, sometimes conflicting...
My best guess is these were ammunition stores, probably from WW2 but, as there was clearly a military presence on the marshes during WW1 (both Vickers and the Royal Flying Corps, the predecessor to the RAF) possibly earlier ! I don't know, but would quite like to.

Once again, Flickr's map is stupidly wrong. Dartford and Dartford Marshes are the east side of the River Darent, Bexley - and consequently, Greater London - are neighbouring districts but on the west side of that river.
