Barn Owl in the tree 1 jpg - a photo on Flickriver

            Since I didn't make Yellowstone this Spring I have concentrated on SW Idaho Owls. Yesterday found an abandon potato warehouse that was the home of 9 Barn Owls. Couldn't get ant decent shots as they all scattered. However a farmer friend has a popular tree grove where they sometimes congregate. Hence this Barn Owl was very cooperative. The wind was blowing like crazy. Note the very large talons. I would like to invite my Blackfoot friends to join in a quest to photograph these owls. I know Mike Woodhouse wanted to photograph them before he passed away June 28.
