237/365 Just been one of those days!!

Change of plans!! We were making good time, our flight was at 2:20pm, we left our house at around 11am to go to a friend of our's house so he could then take us to the airport and then drive our car back so we didn't have to pay a ridiculous amount of money to keep it at the airport for a couple weeks. So we were about 5 minutes away from his house when Xavier threw up everywhere!!! It wasn't just a little spit up that you could clean up with a wipe easily, NO, it was literally EVERYWHERE!! All over his clothes, in his diaper, his carseat, all over our car, it was pretty bad, he didn't seemed phased by it though, he just went on like nothing happened! I think it was the combination of 105 degree weather and eating McDonald's earlier that morning, idk but it was horrible!! So once we got to our friend's house we had to give Xavier a bath, take apart the carseat, wash his clothes and the carseat material in the washer and half way dry it, wipe done the rest of the carseat and the inside of our car. It was the washing and drying of his clothes and carseat that really set us back, we ended up getting to the airport around 1:45pm, got to the desk just to hear the lady tell us that we're not gonna make it, which we figured that but she got on the phone with someone else who said that there was a flight tomorrow we could take but it was gonna cost around $1000!!!! So yea needless to say we won't be making it to the wedding and we will never fly with Northwest again!!!  It was a long, HOT, horrible day!!! Sorry, just had to vent.
