            Germany, Kloster Bebenhausen,
Mitten im Schönbuch liegt in malerischer Landschaft das Kloster Bebenhausen. Besonders sehenswert ist das Sommerrefektorium mit seinen gotischen Dekorationen. Gut erhalten ist auch der Kreuzgang, der zu den bedeutendsten spätgotischen Anlagen in Südwestdeutschland zählt.
Das ehemalige Zisterzienserkloster wurde vermutlich 1183/84 von Pfalzgraf Rudolph von Tübingen gegründet. Seine Blütezeit erlebte es zwischen dem 13. und 15. Jahrhundert, als es zu den reichsten Klöstern des Landes Württemberg gehörte. 1556 wurde eine evangelische Klosterschule eingerichtet, die bis 1807 bestand. Im 19. Jahrhundert wurde das ehemalige Kloster zum Jagdschloss der Könige von Württemberg. Von 1947 bis 1952 diente es als Sitz des Landtags von Württemberg-Hohenzollern. Die Abgeordneten wohnten sogar zeitweise im Kloster. Seit 1975 steht die gesamte Klosteranlage unter Denkmalschutz.
