Movie Location, Sharon Tate - a photo on Flickriver

            Sharon Tate's final film, "13 Chairs" (also known as "12 + 1") included several scenes shot in London. Various scenes featuring her and the British actor Terry-Thomas (as the driver of a removals van, called Albert) were shot on location in Duke Street St James's, including interior and exterior scenes at a pub called The Chequers; an art gallery across the road from it; and at the mouth of a junction leading to Mason's Yard.
It was during the making of this film that it became apparent that Ms Tate was pregnant and filming was re-ordered to take account of the fact she was 'starting to show.'
Tragically, Ms Tate and her unborn child were killed in 1969 - the same year as the release of the film - so these places will stand as among the last locations she ever filmed at.
