Il Parco dei Mostri - The Park of the Monsters

            Questa scultura si trova nel Parco dei Mostri di Bomarzo (Viterbo), un singolare complesso monumentale fatto costruire nella prima metà del ‘500 dal condottiero Vicino Orsini. 
Nel Parco si trovano sculture gigantesche come questa o anche più grandi raffiguranti personaggi mitologici, animali fantastici, statue enigmatiche e la famosa casa inclinata, che ancora oggi sono in grado di stupire il visitatore.

This sculpture is located in the Park of the Monsters of Bomarzo (near Viterbo town, Italy), a singular monumental complex built in the first half of the sixteenth century by Vicino Orsini.
In the park there are gigantic sculptures like this one or even larger ones depicting mythological characters, fantastic animals, enigmatic statues and the famous slanted house, which even today are able to amaze the visitor.
