A Lofty Perch

Sitting high above the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area with Lake Powell as a magnificent backdrop, the sage brush ubiquitous to the area collects the warm first rays of the early morning sun. This peaceful spot is a favorite of mine when in the area and is unknown to many because it is accessible only by a series of rough and rutted dirt roads devoid of markers or signs of any kind. The views from here are truly inspiring.
Lake Powell is part of the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area / Page, Arizona.
