Times Square New York - a photo on Flickriver

            Here's another picture from a past road trip that I wanted to share during this time of being cooped up at home.  In 2011, I was fortunate enough to go on an epic road trip with my parents.  It stretched from both coasts for me and thousands of miles on the road.

I never imagined myself in New York City, but it was one of the stops my parents had on the itinerary.  I've never cared for big cities and frankly the idea of trying to travel in a city like New York has always scared me a little.  Wow was I wrong, we traveled through the city on the subway system without any problems.  It was actually a new and exciting experience for me.  People were always willing to help us if we looked lost or had a question.

I know that Times Square doesn't look like this now, but it will in the near future.  The colors just attack your senses from all directions when you walk around here.  There was so much to take in and experience.  I was realizing the couple of days that we were going to be in the area weren't going to do our visit justice.  One day I hope to return and explore more.
