Santa Rosa, NM Lightning - a photo on Flickriver

            While driving into Santa Rosa on my way back to California, there were a series of thunderheads alone Interstate 40.  When I got to my motel, there were two huge clouds to the West putting on a show.  After eating dinner, I decided to set up the tripod and start clicking.  I shot hundreds of pictures has the sun went down and the blue hour came upon me.  This is my first post of the night, but many more will come.  I ended up with over 20 usable lightning pictures when it was all said and done.  I don't know if I will ever get a night like this to shoot again.  We don't get lightning where I live like this night.
