WRB2188 & WRA006 Ludlow Curve - a photo on Flickriver

            Watco's westbound 6SS2, the empty livestock train, descends Ludlow Hill around the deviation curve. Many still call this the deviation, but it was built many years ago in the steam era, because the steam trains had trouble with traction climbing the straight rise. In our days, some diesel locomotives have had trouble stalling on the opposite hill leading into Dulacca.
