Abandoned farmhouse at Minnamurra (Curramore)

            An apparently abandoned farmhouse on the road to the Minnamurra rainforest and waterfall. Photographed in the late afternoon on Sunday 19th July, 2020, with my Samsung Galaxy S20+ mobile phone camera. I was returning to Jamberoo along Minnamurra Falls Road, when I noticed this farmhouse beside a cascading stream. Somebody obviously once lived there because there is a remnant garden including two incredible, flowering, camellias. Camellias would not just  grow here on the edge of a rainforest and someone, I am guessing, a long time ago - judging by the size of the pink camellia - must have planted them as part of the farmhouse garden.
Earlier I had been trekking through the rainforest at Minnamurra where I had encountered an array of lyrebirds. Notably they were mimicking the whip-like call of Eastern whipbirds. There were also a lot of rock wallabies foraging under the cabbage tree palms and tree ferns.
The lyrebirds were amazing. And so too this farmhouse - all on its own at the edge of the rainforest. Quite strange.
