Introduced in April 1936 the 12-48 was a longer and more streamlined version of the 10-40 with a boot. Unlike its Morris sibling the 12-48 featured an OHV engine and four speed transmission along with Easiclean pressed steel wheels

Models came as a Saloon, Sliding Head Saloon, and a Coupe fitted with SU Carbs, Hydralic brakes and dampers and 12 volt electrics. A coachbuilt version was also available.
