A Stoic Junco in the Snow - Vancouver, British Columbia

            We rarely get much snow in Vancouver, so I seldom get the chance to do much winter photography. A couple weeks ago we had a major snow fall. As the snow fell, I went out with my trusty Olympus in search of subjects to photograph. I came across this stoic junco perched on a snowy branch. Although the light and conditions were terrible, I rather liked the composition and thought I would share it with you. If you look carefully, you can see snow and sleet falling in the background and snow melting on the junco's head. The photo was taken in December 2012, with my trusty Olympus digital camera. Enjoy.
