St. Cyriakus, Althausen - a photo on Flickriver

Blick zum Chorraum der Kirche St. Cyriakus in Althausen bei Münnerstadt. Das Besondere an dieser Kirche: Die originale Farbfassung des 18. Jhds. wurde wieder hergestellt. Diese Farbfassung ist eine Besonderheit, nämlich sie imitiert die Farben und die Mattheit ungebrannten Porzellans. An den noch folgenden Nahaufnahmen wird dies dann gut sichtbar. Dies ist m.W. einmalig und niemand weiß, wer der Künstler war.
